FISCHOHR TONSTUDIO NASSLER

So far, 36 CDs have been made, amongst them some for Gerhard Schöne, Nassler&Schneider, Goldmund audio book publishing house and various acoustic bands that I know. My standard: “I want a product which I cannot make any better at this point of time”, meaning I am a perfectionist in sound, arrangement and musical material. I know it’s worth it!

Newest technology is useless if the musical ideas are shallow and unimaginative just as nothing satisfying will come out of producing a top-class orchestra on a 4-track tape recorder with ordinary tapes. Therefore quality in substance comes first before choosing the equipment/studio that fits standards and possibilities. All acoustic instrument in connection with singing are my forte. Other things are possible, but neither Punk nor Pop, Rap nor Rock ’n’ Roll, advertising jingles nor wish-wash music are my desire… Others can do that better than me. Because of my own experiences I try to allow free play to the musician, offer ideas and take care of the best possible realization in a communicative and creative atmosphere. The microphones are made by BPM, Rode, Gefell, AKG and Sennheiser. I work with a PC and Magix Samplitude, Wavelab and Logic Audio (up to 24/96). (The coolest Records in music history by the way were produced analogously on “shoe lace” with noice and mechanical cuts - but I can’t offer that anymore!)
